What people get wrong about ‘Figuring it out’ Part II
“Figuring it out” doesn’t have to be this big, grandiose thing. At the start of the new year, we make these big proclamations of finding the job we want, starting a business, figuring out our finances, getting healthier, doing more adventurous things.
We may take action for a few weeks, and then the novelty wears off, dopamine dips, and we fall back into our old habits, our old routines, our old ways of doing things— still saying “some day” and “I’m figuring it out.”
If we want something different than what we have, we have to become a different person.
It means no longer being the passenger in our life, allowing the proverbial train to take us wherever it wants—
It means looking up and asking: where is this train going? And then actually getting off the dang train if the destination doesn’t suit us.
Maybe a boat would suit you better. Or a plane.
The point is, you get to choose the journey.
And it requires action on your part. Small, consistent action in order to actually “figure it out.”
What will you do today?
If this resonates and you’re ready to go deeper, I work 1:1 with a small number of clients to help them reconnect with their True Nature and create a life that feels like theirs. [Let’s talk →]
